The purpose of the Master Trainer program is to help students develop a balanced knowledge of fitness and nutrition, and a depth of expertise across many areas of fitness. Completion of the program will prepare students for entry level personal training positions with the ability to pursue either an associate or bachelor’s degree in the College of Exercise Science.

For over 30 years, the ISSA College of Exercise Science has worked with the military to help both active duty service members and veterans achieve their education goals. Our programs are specifically designed to be flexible so you can easily manage your coursework during your service.
Graduates of the program earn the Master Trainer designation plus six individual fitness certifications through ISSA LLC. Finish the program in as few as two quarters as an accelerated full-time student, or pace your coursework overtime for up to six quarters.
The ISSA College of Exercise Science is a Title IV school, and our bachelor’s degree program, associate degree program, and Master Trainer certificate program are all eligible for federal student aid.
